"It's too bright"

Hey! To day we'll be talking about the different lighting we're using within our project. Our opener is intended to be very positive and uplifting with positive lighting. We used daylight throughout the whole opener, filming earlier within the day to capture the best lighting. This has actually been one of our biggest issues filming as we are constantly running out of daylight. We chose natural lighting to contribute to the upbeat-positive mood that are opener has as this serves as the teenage-dream element within our opener. In order to catch our viewer by surprise to the future events, we filmed the full opener in broad daylight.

We didn't much key light, but there are a few scenes where we utilized the natural light of my room and the light of the vanity mirror to create a key light. We also utilized a camera light to add additional lighting for when the sun is covered by clouds, etc. Honestly, there isn't much we can do about the lighting issue, but film shots with poor lighting and time our filming better.

Thank you for reading!
